Signature Gatherers - Collecting Petitions

Thanks for the help of all of you who have been gathering signatures on petitions. Now it's time to start collecting those petitions. We'd like to get them all collected by the end of this coming weekend since they have to be tabulated and turned in to the city elections department early next week. If you have recruited additional people to gather signatures please pass this information on to them as they are probably not on our email list or visiting this website.

Here are several options for turning in signed petitions:

1. The best way is for you to FIRST go to your bank and get the petitions notarized. Usually the bank chain where you have your account(s) will do it free. Then either drop the notarized petitions off at Jim's Sign-A-Rama shop (southeast corner SR51 and Shea Blvd) or reply to this email or call 602-595-5451 to arrange a time and place to turn in the petitions.
2. If you can't get the petitions notarized yourself, we have several Notaries Public who have volunteered their services and have set some times and locations for notarizing and collecting petitions:
* Mike Renzulli will be at the Starbucks, 33rd Ave and Bethany Home Rd, Wednesday evening from 6:00 until 9:00 PM and also Saturday morning from 10:00 AM until 1:00 PM.
* Michael Kielsky will be available at his law offices (86 W. University Dr. #107, Mesa) during the day when he's not in court or with a client. Please call ahead (480-626-5415) to check his availability.
* Emily will be available to notarize and collect petitions at her office (west central Phoenix) weekdays and also some evenings. Coordinate with her by email [...click for address...].
3. If none of the above options can work for you then send an email to notaxfood@warsev.com or call 602-595-5451 and we will find a way to get you together with a notary and collect your petitions.

Reminder – The next organizing meeting is this Tuesday 2/23 (tomorrow), 6:30 PM, at Jim's Sign-A-Rama on the southeast corner of SR51 and Shea Blvd. Hope to see you there.
